Shanan Hoy - Owner, NASM, AFAA, WAKAI, CPR, BS in Kinesiology Exercise Science, NASM Certified Personal Trainer

Shanan is reaching 16 years as a Health and Fitness Trainer. She moved to Florida in 2003 from California where she received her degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology at CSU Sacramento.In her experience in the fitness industry, Shanan has actively pursued being an Aerobic, Kickboxing, and Strength Training instructor, a two time Ms. Fitness Competitor, and Group and Personal Trainer in her 16 years in fitness.As a cheerleader through college, she also contributed as a Cheer Coach at Bolles Middle and PVHS while living here in Jacksonville.As a mother to two children, she continues to pursue her passion of health and fitness as a personal trainer and owner of Focus Fitness.Her education in the continually growing industry of fitness consists of: NASM, AFAA, WAKAI, and CPR certifications.

Geno Chanthaphasouk - NASM Certified Personal Trainer

  Geno Chanthaphasouk is a certified personal trainer. He received his certification at National Academy of Sports Medicine. Geno firmly believes that anyone is capable of achieving their goals with the right determination and motivation. He uses key points like high interval intensity training with strength and flexibility. He varies his workouts with functional movements so client enjoy their workouts. Geno is a supportive personal trainer who can help you achieve your goals-whether you'd like to increase your endurance, strength, stamina, or adopt a healthier lifestyle.
Jeff Levine - I.S.S.A. Certified Personal Trainer, RYT-200 Certified Yoga Instructor, CPR/AED Certified
  Jeff has been in the fitness industry for almost ten years and it has been a huge part of his life. Growing up he played all kinds of sports including cycling, mountain biking, golfing, and surfing. In High School he got into working out and he was hooked. He’s lived in Jacksonville almost his entire life and graduated from the University of North Florida. He is a Certified Personal Trainer through I.S.S.A (International Sports Sciences Association). He specializes in High Intensity Interval Training, Cardio Metabolic Training, Sports Specific Training, Weight Loss, Strength Training, Rehabilitation, Stretching, and Flexibility. He is a Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT-200) from Big Fish and a Baptiste Level One Certified Yoga Instructor. Jeff’s passion is helping his clients meet or exceed their goals! “I show up 100% every day for my clients, it’s a team effort. I’m with them every step of the way, whether it’s motivation, accountability, or coaching, I’m here for them.” Jeff is committed to empowering people and leaving them in their own greatness!
Jeff Tong - Personal TrainerNSCA Certified Personal Trainer, Precision Nutrition Coach, USAW Sport Performance Coach, Kettlebell Coach, Pre/Post Natal
  Jeff Tong brings the front line of fitness from the top gym in Manhattan to Jacksonville Beach. He was a personal trainer at Equinox in NYC for the past three years, now relocated to Jax Beach with his wife and daughter. His passions are strength and functional movements which are the core foundation needed for any athlete or weekend warrior. Jeff is a certified nutrition coach and loves to integrate nutrition counseling into his sessions. He is also certified in USA weightlifting, kettlebells and pre/post-natal training. Jeff won thesilver medal in the national USA powerlifting competition this year. Jeff believes strength acquisition is the fundamental training adaptation upon which mobility and conditioning is integrated to create the most efficient path to fitness success.
 Angel Junker - Personal Trainer
  Angel spent most of her childhood on a 24 acre farm in Oklahoma. She grew up with two brothers and two sisters. Moving to South Florida to finish high school was a huge cultural shock! Her passion for fitness stems from years on the farm and a love for the outdoors. Staying fit through exercise has allowed her the opportunity to remain strong and healthy for fun outside the gym doors! She wants others to have happiness and a zest for living too, this lead her to the health and fitness industry. She attended the University of North Florida where she graduated with a BS degree in Health, minor in Psychology and a track in Exercise Science. She is certified through AFAA and has attended other numerous certifications and conferences. She has been certified to teach indoor cycling, group fitness, PACE (people with arthritis can exercise), AEA (aquatic exercise association), TRX, Mat Science one and two and AFAA yoga. She has attended numerous workshops on bootcamp training, kickboxing, core training, triathlon training and so many more. When she is not in the gym she stays very active! She enjoys snowboarding, paddle boarding, skateboarding, rollerblading and skating, kayaking, camping, dancing, and just about anything else. She loves performing all of the above with her ten year old son Ethan. Her son enjoys those activities but would have her include minecraft and other Xbox games. Ethan attends school at Montessori Tides at the beach and is in the fifth grade
 Taylor Hutson Personal Trainer, ACE, NSCA
  Taylor started out as an intern at Focus Fitness learning the ins and outs of the business, assessment process, and different training styles. She recently graduated from the University of North Florida with her Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science. She has been working in the industry for the last two years as an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Along with being a personal trainer, she also teaches the Bikini Bootcamp class on Monday nights. She loves to encourage and uplift people and make them feel better when they leave than they did when they walked in. When she's not in the gym, most chances are you can find her on the beach :)
Miwa Fiore - Personal Trainer
  Miwa is a certified personal trainer, ISSA and AFAA, 200 hour certified yoga instructor, and Precision Nutrition certified nutrition coach with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. She specializes in training women and has helped hundreds of her amazing clients achieve their health and fitness goals with her NO-judgement, simple shifts, approach to fitness
 Tracy Hensley Personal Trainer, LMT
  I have been in the health and fitness industry for 12 years. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Licensed Massage Therapist. As a personal trainer, I enjoy working with others instructing them in staying active, choosing appropriate exercises for goals as well as limitations and maintaining flexibility. I use a variety of equipment to achieve a well rounded workout plan for my clients. I formulate cardio and HIIT programs as well as strength training using free weights and cables incorporating core and balance using TRX straps and BOSU. I like to teach clients assisted stretching, foam rolling and other methods they can use to achieve flexibility and more mobility. My goal is to make workouts fun but challenging and worth the effort the client puts into them. I specialize in body transformation as I have altered my physique and competed in figure and bikini bodybuilding shows. I have loved the process and improvements I have experienced which are my rewards for hard work, consistency and dedication. Massage therapy compliments my personal training. It has enhanced my knowledge of how to maintain the body in better balance, posture and recovery. Deep tissue work is my specialty which means my bodywork is focused and specific. My aim during a massage is to relax, recover and assist in creating more mobility in joints by increasing flexibility in muscle tissue. I do use appropriate pressure to achieve the maximum benefit for the client's needs. I have had the opportunity to work on professional athletes in the fields of football, baseball golf, tennis, swimming and bodybuilding. I am very energetic and love to smile because I am blessed to have a passion for what I do!
 Coco Miller - Personal Trainer, BS in Exercise Science, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, AFAA Group Instructor, CPR/ AED Certified
  Coco Miller has a unique background that gives her the edge you won’t find with anyone else. Coco grew up in Dallas, TX in a gym knowing she wanting to be a personal trainer and follow her mom’s footsteps. In 2014, Coco started her career as a dual sport Division 1 student-athlete at the University of North Florida (UNF) while obtaining her Bachelors degree in Exercise Science on full scholarship. She was able to shadow some of the highest level of training and coaches nearly every day of the year which manifested into a hands-on learning environment to engrave her studies in her. Throughout her career, she’s gained knowledge from personal experience and mentors on injury prevention and recovery from her multiple knee surgeries and shoulder injuries from over a decade of playing sports. In between her demanding schedule, she was one of the most colorful athletes from UNF’s athletic program, making it on their Wall of Fame after her freshmen year and recognized for breaking the school record of “Most Wins” by any player ever for UNF’s Women’s Beach Volleyball team. She also was a volunteer to the On Campus Transition program as a fitness coach to special needs students. With Coco Miller’s kind personality, competitiveness, passion to help others, and with her unique background, she is willing to go the extra mile to help her clients reach their fitness and health goals.
 Aaron Bodager - Personal Trainer, BS in Health Science
  Aaron is a former Division 1 basketball player at the University of North Florida. He was born and raised in Orlando, FL where he actively participated in many sports including baseball, soccer, volleyball, track and basketball. He moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2012 to attend UNF as a student-athlete and pursue a degree in Health Science. He has experience working with collegiate athletic trainers and strength/conditioning coaches to develop variety of exercise programs. During his time at UNF, Aaron suffered a complete tear of his ACL and underwent reconstruction surgery. Throughout his recovery he found a passion for sports medicine, rehabilitation and his overall obsession for fitness. Following his surgery, he played in over 100 games at UNF, and helped the University win its first ever Conference Championship and trip to the 2015 NCAA March Madness Tournament. His experience and success as a collegiate athlete has molded his desire share his knowledge of fitness in a unique way to help other achieve their overall health goals. He likes to use corrective exercises with functional movements to gain strength, flexibility, core stability and improve endurance. He channels a competitive, supportive and coaching aspect to help clients work with him as a team to reach their overall fitness ambitions. While outside of the gym, Aaron enjoys an active lifestyle. He helps coach the Ponte Vedra Basketball team and leads the strength/conditioning program there. He loves to play outdoor athletics such as tennis, golf, soccer, sand volleyball and any beach sport possible. He is very energetic and believes fitness is simply becoming a better version of your own self.
 Georgeanne Schievink- BS in Kinesiology, National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, Precision Nutrition Certified, AED/CPR certified
  Georgeanne is a Michigan native who has had a lifelong passion for health and fitness. In 2015, she graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and a specialization in health promotion. She believes consistent healthy movement, mindful eating and proper self care are key components to longevity. Georgeanne is also a certified health coach through Precision Nutrition and loves to help others change their eating habits for the long haul. The fitness world can be hard to navigate and it’s Georgeanne’s mission to help others find the path that works for their unique life. She has worked with people of all ages and their various goals. Georgeanne specializes in group training, high intensity workouts, strength training, weight loss and habit change.
